Metal-on-Metal Hip Implants

Metal on Metal Hips have been reported as being dangerous for hip implant patients.  Unfortunately many patients with these defective products will be required to undergo a second or even third hip replacement surgery after the devices failed.  There are several manufacturers of Metal on Metal Implants that have been found to cause serious problems for patients.

  • Decline in the ability to do physical activity
  • Need to use a cane
  • Dislocation
  • Increased levels of Chromium and Cobalt in the blood stream (blood toxicity)
