I was raised in Tennessee, earned two BS degrees in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, and a JD from Memphis State Law School.  I have taken and passed the Tennessee Bar and have been practicing law since August 1970.  I have over 30 years of experience doing administrative hearings before federal agencies. 

After the application for disability benefits has been rejected by the Social Security Administration, and a hearing has been requested, I take control of the appeal.  I interview applicant, help the applicant and the staff obtain and present evidence, edit the pre-hearing brief, conduct a hearing before Administrative Law Judge, and write a post-hearing brief on unsuccessful appeals.
