2 Automobile Accidents in Bartow Leave 3 Injured + One Bicyclist in Critical Condition

by on Friday, May 25, 2012  —  Car Accidents, Pedestrian Accidents

As reported on www.newscheif.com, there were two major accidents that occurred last Saturday in Bartow which sent 4 people total to the hospital, one being a bicyclist.

Pedestrian accidents are usually very dangerous because the pedestrian does not have a protective “cage” of any kind surrounding them like drivers or passengers in cars do.

In this accident, the bicyclist, Eloy Hernandez, 38, did not obey a stop sign causing her to be struck by a Ford F-350. She was flown to the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in critical condition. This is a perfect example of why it is so important for not only drivers, but pedestrians as well, to obey all traffic laws.

The second accident involved a pickup truck and a van. They collided at intersection of Spruce and Bomber road.  The driver of the truck was not injured and her son, Michael, 10 was sent to Winter Haven Hospital. Both the driver and the passenger of the van were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Their current conditions are still unknown.

As you can see, both these accidents happened in the same day in the same rather small city and automobile accidents are happening all the time. We are here to help those who are injured in accidents get the compensation they deserve for their injuries. Trying to deal with the insurance companies alone is a bad idea. It is their job to give you as little as possible for your injuries. That is why it is a good idea to call us if you are EVER involved in an accident. The call and the advice are free and you don’t pay anything unless we win your case. Call 888-We-Mean-It (888-936-3264).

Have a safe weekend.
