There are exciting things happening at Brooks Law Group! We are expanding our main campus and are thrilled for the opportunity to serve even more people in Florida. The firm has been an established Florida practice since 1992, focusing on all aspects of injury law. The Brooks Law Group’s new motto, “Whatever It Takes”, permeates the culture of the law firm.

In just over two decades, the firm has grown to 5 attorneys and 23 on staff in five locations.

  • Main campus located on 1st Street in Winter Haven, FL
    • 123 1st Street North
    • 105 1st Street North (An adjacent building, referred to as the 105 Annex)
  • 1401 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33880 (Social Security Department)
  • 625 Commerce Drive, Suite 203, Lakeland, FL 33813
  • 2002 5th Avenue, Unit 101, Tampa, FL 33605

The 1st street campus in Winter Haven consists of two separate but adjacent buildings. One of the existing buildings on the 1st Street campus is a 3055 square foot structure (105 Annex) that was originally built in 1962 to serve as a retail establishment. It was built with 15′ foot ceilings in the industrial style of the 60’s. After many years, the retail store closed, and then served as a bicycle shop. When attorneys Steve and Beach Brooks purchased the property in 2004, the 105 building had been vacant for several years. Although the Brooks’ originally purchased the building with the thought of razing it to allow room for an addition to the 123 building, their plans evolved. They decided to renovate the 105 Annex building and keep its structural integrity; thus, growing the First Street location to a two-building campus.

The attorney partners realized the 105 structure had great bones. It was well built, had high ceilings and would make a nice footprint for the additional space they needed to accommodate the growth of their law firm. Remodeling took over a year and involved adding numerous offices and conference rooms. The owners were insistent on retaining the industrial character of the building.

Steve & Beach Brooks recently purchased a building located at 103 Ave A NW, (formerly occupied by the Robert Crittenden Law firm). It is located directly to the east of the 105 Annex and will allow for the expansion of the 105 building footprint by an additional 1100 square feet. The buildings will be connected by an internal doorway. The owners anticipate major renovations to match the industrial style and character reflected throughout the 105 Annex. The additional square footage will help to absorb the hiring of additional staff and attorneys as the firm continues to grow. The Brooks Law Group has plans to occupy the additional square footage on November 1, 2016. We at Brooks Law Group are elated to share the news of our growth to serve the community better. We are here for you; ‘Whatever it takes!’
