november's first friday

November’s First Friday in Downtown Lakeland was a great success for Brooks Law Group. There were crowds of people that stood around our tent and display for each drawing we had to win a Thanksgiving Dinner from Publix.

People that had questions stood and spoke with us throughout the event. Many people from the first drawing came back for the second drawing.

We were able to get the word out about our Turkey Give-Away taking place Sat, November 19th at 10:00am, where we will give out 300 turkeys on a first-come, first-serve basis to the people of the community whom otherwise would not have a Thanksgiving dinner.

We had both Turkey Give-Away and Toy Drive flyers on display to hand out and inform the public. We told people that asked about bringing toys all the way to Lakeland…that we will have a “collection box” at the December First Friday for those that can’t make it to our Winter Haven locations.

We collected a lot of contact information from people that signed-up.

People love our khaki bags, the baseball bat pens, the cell phone “stick-on” ID or Credit Card holders, our informative publications, and of course CANDY (we had peanut butter and regular mini-Snickers).

It was a great time for our attorneys, case manager, administration, and families to come together and make a lot of connections with people at Downtown Lakeland’s Munn Park.

Next month, the First Friday Event will take place on December 2nd from 6:00-9:00pm. We will have another raffle prize and a lucky winner. We will have a collection box for anyone that wants to participate in the Toy Drive. These toys will be donated to Farmworker’s Ministry and will be used to give children the Christmas gifts that they otherwise wouldn’t have.

We hope to see you all at December’s First Friday Event.
