Transvaginal Mesh is a surgical mesh that is used by doctors for the repair of pelvic floor disorders. These disorders include pelvic organ prolapse (POP) which is very common in some women due to age, obesity, or childbirth. These types of disorders are known to cause symptoms such as urinary incontinence, discomfort, and/or pain. We’ve written more on the history of these cases on our blogs.

We have offices in Tampa, Lakeland and Winter Haven. Our Tampa office is: 2002 5th Avenue, Unit 10.

The time limit to bring these claims, in most cases, will expire before July 12, 2013, just days away.

  1. See our law firm immediately. If you don’t bring your lawsuit immediately, your claim will likely be forever barred. Our firm can file legal paperwork to stop the statute of limitations (the time limit for starting claims) and preserve your right to bring your claim
  2. Death cases. If someone you know has died because of a transvaginal mesh procedure, you will also need to appoint a personal representative. We can help you with that appointment. But time is running out. If the decedent had a will, you will need the original of the will. You also need the death certificate.
  3. See a doctor. If you have not seen a doctor, then you will need to see a doctor who can confirm your medical condition.
  4. Get your medical and work history records together. We can work on the details after we preserve your claim. But you should try to prepare a list of the hospitals and doctors you’ve seen and the medications you’re currently taking. You should also collect any written instructions or notices you have received. If you’ve lost time from work, prepare a summary of the time you’ve lost and the amount of wages you’ve lost. We can work on the details after we preserve your transvaginal mesh claim.

Best time to bring your claim – is by Friday, July 12, 2013

Please know that it takes time to review the facts, to prepare the necessary paperwork and to file the papers. You should not wait until the last day to contact a lawyer. Please contact our firm immediately.
