As reported on Tbo.com, a motorcycle crash occurred in Tampa on February 19th around 10:30pm. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Lutz and the passenger, a 24-year-old women from Valrico were both ejected from the motorcycle after colliding with a state trooper’s cruiser. The driver died instantly at the scene, while the passenger was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with critical injuries, according to the article.
Officials stated that the state trooper had its emergency lights on and was providing traffic control and that the motorcycle was speeding and collided right into the vehicle.
