A 40-year-old woman (a music teacher) from Tampa by the name of Merritt Tilson was bringing two 15-year-old teenagers to school this week when a terrible accident occurred. Her son, Alex Tilson, along with another teenager, Katherine Stairs were on their way to Blake High School on Tuesday morning when they were hit by a tractor trailer. The accident is still under investigation as to how it exactly occurred. TBO.com (http://tbo.com/news/music-teacher-two-students-injured-in-crash-with-semi-20140128/) mentioned that Tilson was pulling out of a private driveway and the big rig, heading west on Van Dyke, struck the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Tilson (the driver) and Stairs were taken from the scene in critical condition.
